After a half term at college, I've started to get quite a lot of assignments and my day to day life can be quite busy on top of that, which can leave my quite stressed and struggling to sleep. One of the best ways to relax after a busy day is to get in a hot bath, with a book and a bath bomb. Tonight I decided to use a bath blaster from the Bomb Cosmetics called 'Night Fever' and started reading The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.
Night Fever bath blaster is from a company called Bomb Cosmetics which sell bath products like bath bombs, bath melts, and homemade soaps. I use the soaps from the company on a daily basis as a hand soap because they are a great quality product for a very good price (£2.50 each). This brand is also against animal testing and non of there products or ingredients are tested on animals which I really love. The bath bomb I used was only £2.09 from the official website. It has a very light fragrance so it is not overwhelming and it leaves the skin feeling soft and smelling great!
Official website - www.bombcosmetics.co.uk
The Rosie Project is a fictional book about 39 year old Don Tillman, a geneticist who has Asperger's Syndrome. He creates the wife project to find the perfect partner. The book can seem quite formally written, with a lot of complex words, but it gives you an insight into the mind of somebody with Asperger's. I'm only five chapters in so far but I can't wait to carry on reading!
I hope you liked this post and comment any books you would suggest to relax with.

I'm Back!
Heyy Beauts!
I know I haven't uploaded in two months and I know that's really bad but I've been doing my GCSE's and working so I haven't had the time! Uploads over this summer are going to be inconsistent because I'm going away three times but I will try to do as many as I can inbetween :)

Brushes! Tropic Bamboo Kabuki Brush Review
Hello Beauts!
Here's another new series that is going to be called 'Brushes' (haha creative Lauren), which is just where I am going to tell you about which makeup brushes I love using and the ones I've been disappointed by.
If anybody as watched the apprentice, a few years back a lady called Susan Ma was on there to try and get Sir Alan Sugar to go into partnership with her. The idea of the company was to create a range of beauty products made from essential oils and other natural ingredients. Unfortunately, she did not win but Sir Alan Sugar loves her idea so much that he decided to go into business with her, and 'Tropic' was created.
Currently, my favorite makeup brush is the Tropic Kabuki Brush, as it is a multipurpose face brush that gives an outstanding finish. I use this brush to blend my foundation (Rimmel London's 25 hour Lasting Foundation) out, and to apply my powder (Rimmel London's Stay Matte Press Powder). When I blend my foundation, I find this brush gives my skin a smooth finish and makes my foundation look more natural. After I put my foundation on with this brush, I will use it to apply my powder. It picks up the powder well and spreads it over the skin evenly, buffing it into the foundation.

EMPTIES! GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation Review
Hello Beauts!
This is the first post in my series called 'EMPTIES', where I'm going to review the product once I've used it all up! This is the best way for me to give you an honest review on the products because how can I tell you the product when I've only used it for a week.
Even before we get to the foundation, the actual size and shape of the product makes it great for when your are on the go. If I'm in a rush i can just shove this in my bag and I can put it on later in the day. Also, it doesn't leave you skin shiny so you don't have to use a powder with it, which makes it even more lightweight to travel with.

Hello There!
Hello Beauts! Sooo... your probably wondering who the hell is this and what are you doing here?
Well, I'm Lauren and I'm 16 years old, currently studying for my GCSE's. There's not much more to say on who I am and where I'm from. So why am I here?
Make up, clothes, hair, nails, skincare and pretty much everything beauty related fascinates me. Since I was little I have always wanted to be a beautician, so the best place I could start is looking at the different beauty products I could use.
As you've probably gathered from that, I'm going to be blogging about beauty related bits and pieces. If this is the kind of stuff you like then come back in the next week to see the first few posts, including a 'first impressions of glossybox' and 'EMPTIES -GOSH foundation review'.
If beauty isn't really your thing, come back in a few months to see if I've branched out into different areas or email me some ideas at beautybylauren.work@gmail.com.
That's basically it so I hope you like my first few posts (which will be uploaded in the next two weeks) and follow me on Twitter@officialMLBO.
ByeBye
